There’s no way of knowing what she really thinks inside. But following her on Twitter some years ago, I was disgusted by her show-offy “social justice heroism” and unfollowed. She will make Dumbledore gay, but not include those scenes in the movies. She will make Hermione a black woman to get claps. I think most of the backlash about Hermione wasn’t even about the color of her skin, but the perception she created by giving us a freckled, ginger, caucasian Hermione and then deciding to change that, claiming that she never made Hermione white despite the evidence in the books. People were angry that she lied. She has accused my fav Youtuber Pewdiepie of racism, without even doing research.
She has ruined the HP series for me. I cannot stand seeing her tweets any more.
If she wanted to be clapped so hard, why wouldn’t she actually write a book “about” a POC with the lead role, or write a book centered around an LGBT character? She is fake, and it shows.
